Oh hello there! It's been quite a while... Well, before I begin any lovey-dovey Valentine's day-related post/s lemme reach out first to those who..er..are lonesome this day of hearts. Which lead me to..hmmm giving advice to those who have lost their lovers through whatever stup*d reason.
It may be like the end of the world but believe me! IT IS NOT. and will never be. So get up and stop the "walling" act and all the dramas you get from watching romantic movies. HAHAHA.
I've read a lot about how-to's in moving on from a broken relationship and here are some I learned:
1. Feel and savor the pain. I know, that is the saddest (and most depressing) thing to do BUT hey guess what, after savoring the pain and crying all the fluids out of your body, you'll feel better in a week or two. Magsasawa ka sa pain to the point of never wanting to try to feel (or even think) of it again!
2. STOP stalking in social media networks. PLEASE. Have mercy on yourself. If you see he/she is seeing/dating someone else already or you see that he's very happy and A O.K, you'll just feel jealous and pity yourself even more! Like, you'll feel soooo like a loser (even if you're not, of course!).
3. Mingle BUT never start a relationship as early as 1 month. Obviously, that's what we call rebound relationship. And in most cases, this never work out. You're lonely and you try to find someone who can fill-up the spaces left by your ex-lover. You're bored and you try to do the stuffs you're doing with your ex-lover with the 'new' prospect. And lastly, you just want someone who you can slap on your ex-lover's face, like a trophy you've won over a great competitor.
4. Try to lessen the grudge. Cursing and all will not bring you any good (or your ex-lover back). Hate and grudge will just blurr your mind from the correct decisions to make or take.
5. KILL (not the ex-lover) but all the hopes of getting back together. Not a single drop of hope, please! Because as long as you have a very small hope of him begging you to come back or second chance and all, you will never move on.
So there! Hope this helps! If I think of other how-to's, I'll post them here!
I thought of wasting my money on Sakae Sushi last Saturdate (quick rant)
After I was done with all my clearance labs last Saturday, I thought of dining in Sakae Sushi with boyfie. I don't know why I thought of that when i'm very much aware it's not worth the price!
Adults dine for Php399 for a sushi buffet, miso soup and unlimited drinks. The first time we had the buffet we were just curious of the "sushi conveyor" (if they call it such, I can't remember!). And I said I'll never come back. Geez, why did I ever come back! I wasted Php800 for a bunch of rice, a miso soup (which I didn't even take a sip) and a glass of cold tea (infer sa cold tea, it tastes great!).
What I didn't like about Sakae Sushi:
- food tastes so-so, nothing special, not something you'd die to come back for.
- you'll find the same dish in the conveyor for about an hour or two, yes if you think the choices are endless you'll probably be very disappointed to know that you'll find only about 10 different kinds of sushi on the conveyor.
- you wouldn't even get the taste you're paying for, it's like you paid Php399 for unlimited rice
Until now I can't get over the fact that I wasted Php800 for this kind of food! We could have dine somewhere else. Or i could have bought a lot of stuffs on sale. Sheeez. After thirty minutes of waiting for new dishes in the conveyor, i just died of boredom and decided to bill out and there goes my Php800 flew in the cash register!
Maybe it was an effect of the 12-hr fasting I did for my FBS.
Oh please Zalora, cut the lying game!
I intentionally did not blog about my worst (so far, aside from the past experiences I've had) experience with Zalora's Customer Service (they call that customer service, *roll eyes*) last uhh can't remember anymore. Around June or July... I can't remember what item went out of stock, all I know is that I contacted a certain customer care agent named "Apple" and asked for assistance so I can buy the Plains&Prints DRESS which costs Php995 instead. All along I thought everything was okay until I noticed that the delivery was waaaay delayed than the usual 1-2 days delivery time within Metro Manila. I contacted her again, she said the dress ran out of size small. In my mind I thought "NOT AGAIN!" but after a few more days i realized what went wrong...
I chose to buy the dress because it costs less than the mall price. It is priced Php1995 in stores while only Php995 in Zalora. I started to feel something was wrong when none of my emails regarding the status of my order was answered by Zalora. So I called Apple instead. She tried explaining (or should I say lying) about why I can't get the item. She said it was out of stock but (maybe) they didn't want to be marked as out of stock online shop so they offered they will be pulling out the item from malls. Then came their mighty rider handing me a TOP of same prints as that of the dress I ordered. I then called Zalora demanding explanation why I'm getting a top instead of a dress. They said according to the "SKU" or item code, I ordered a top and not a dress. When I checked their website the price of the dress was changed from Php995 to Php1995. But still, the top that I got was never made available online even before I ordered the dress. But this Apple insisted that the price was not changed and that if ever it was changed, they will know. I just said, "Apple If I ordered a dress I will be expecting a dress and if ever I ordered a top I will sure be expecting a top! i am very sure I ordered a dress, I even checked the price of the dress from Plains&Prints Facebook page!" There, first lie from Apple of Zalora. There's no 2nd from Apple but rather from customer agent named "Florenz" happened just today.
I emailed regarding the status of the shoes I ordered. He/She said they tried delivering the item last Sunday but the rider said I was not at home. Hello? I was at home the whole day of Sunday. We even had visitors (our relatives) that day, the house was packed and I was up from 6 in the morning 'til midnight!!!! I never went out! What the hell are you saying I was not at home! Stop lying to your customers and swallow your pride. Admit what you failed to do or what you did wrong. Please.
HAY I'm thinking of getting a pair of Suelas in rose gold pa naman! But I don't want to be a victim of lying customer care agents of Zalora again! haaaaay talaga!

Melissa: Worth Every Cent!
Honestly, it's just recently when i learned to love (and value) Melissa shoes. Incidentally, while browsing for juicy news about Ms. Kelly Medina and her engagement I was directed to her Tumblr blog and in her blog was an ongoing contest where 3k Melissa GCs are at stake for two lucky girls. Well, I was one of the "two'. So there, I got the chance to get hold of my very first Melissa flats.
I am a frequent TriNoma goer so claiming the shoes was no sweat. Oh, i forgot to mention the GC was shipped through Air21 so really, no hassle! I always pass by Geleia in TriNoma (cos we always get the parking spot just the level of Geleia's store -i don't know why!) but never really spent time checking on Melissa shoes for a few reasons a.) I find them too expensive/ overpriced b.) I thought they were not really comfortable and lastly c.) there are a lot of replicas out there. But after getting hold of my very first Melissa pair, I realized a.) the shoes were not really that expensive b.) the shoes were very comfortable waaaay far from what I imagined and c.) who cares if others think my pair is a replica? Those who have these thoughts are the ones who really have replica shoes!
Anyway i got this style, Php2895 Divine in red (though it looks purple/pink)
And I'm thinking of getting these...
Php2895 Wanting
Php2895 Campana Papel
Php1999 Ice II
Php1299 Citrus II
I wish I can have more Melissa GCs!!!

Good deals from Metrodeal
The first group buying site I knew was MetroDeal. I enjoy their hassle-free services and I'm familiar with most of their partner brands. I often buy deals on desserts and kids' deal like the Active Fun they often have. I never had any problem with regards to receiving or claiming the vouchers that's why until now Metrodeal is still in my group buying site roll call every Monday!
