I really wanted to try Sakae Sushi 'cos I find their sushi conveyor belt very interesting. Such a cute experience...but is it worth the price?
Php399.00 for all you can eat sushi and everything that goes round the conveyor belt plus bottomless iced/hot tea and a Japanese soup (which I think is a miso soup). I dined twice here. First time I tried this, they had all sorts of rolls, fried fish, teriyaki fish etc. We loved a red plated rolls with bread, ham and cheese inside and very crunchy outside like a cordon bleu or a tonkatsu with a slightly spicy dressing on top. But the second time we dined here these rolls were cooked differently. I did not see these rolls in the conveyor belt so I had to request it to the staffs. They were kind enough to serve me this love of mine but unfortunately, it turned out differently. ( Awww :'( ) (thanks for the try SM North Annex team!)
I think the food here are overrated. Sushi's are jam-packed with --rice. Yes, you can't even taste the meat (which are all fish by the way, lol). If you're hungry, this is the best place for you because you will be bombarded with no other than --rice. A certified carbo-loading den! Also there were only a few selections that's why I easily got umay. Anyhow, the experience was still good but not something to come back for (definitely!).
Here are a few shots I got. The condiment containers are really cutesy bitsy!
Cute chopsticks / toothpick container.
The Japanese Miso soup (which tasted like concentrated Miso)
when opened
A cute bottled drink in different flavors
Conveyor belt shots
The plates I finished (hindi pa ako satisfied sa lagay na 'yan!)
And for the finale, this cute display cabinet, all froggies! ♥
