Mister Kabab On A Rainy Evening

Last night was one of the most romantic nights with doc. Driving in EDSA was a swift, cold yet I feel so warm inside his car and by his side, and the rain pouring added up to the romance. I felt like the night was made especially for us (though I know somehow, somewhere, someone felt the same way too).

We headed to Mister Kabab, a very cozy Persian-Mediterranean restaurant along West Avenue.

The place is an open restaurant built in bricks and accented by vintage Persian-inspired ceiling and wall lamps and ceiling fans. Need not worry of flies and mosquitoes here, and though it's not air conditioned the air can freely move in and out of it's big windows.

I find this post and it's lights so cute

Chairs and tables.

We never miss out on our all-time favorite, the Shawarma plate.

You have an option to wrap this in a tortilla bread or eat it with rice. In our case, we ALWAYS go with the rice. We've been here countless times but we have never eaten this with bread.

The Special Beef

And my favorite Chicken Liver.

Doc loves this yogurt shake -I don't.

You know what gives life to all these foods? The two bottles (white and red) you'll find in this picture. Seriously, they all taste so good when drizzled with the yogurt thingy and some hot sauce.
